Aalaa Translation Company provided interpretation services for the National Workshop on Notification Requirements, held in Kuwait on 11 and 12 December 2007. The workshop, which was facilitated by World Trade Organization (WTO) representatives, focused on the role and functions on the WTO with regard to Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Agreements & Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Agreement, with a particular emphasis on the notification requirements in the Agricultural sector, in addition to Trade Remedies Agreements (Anti-Dumping, Subsidies and Countervailing Measures & Safeguards). The workshop participants included many experts and professionals from the Customs, the Agricultural sector, several ministries and relevant departments. |
